About the Germain Motor Company

Germain Motor Company, founded in 1947, is currently owned and operated by Bob Germain Jr., Steve Germain, and Rick Germain. Together, the Germain family owns and operates 18 dealerships representing 11 different manufacturers in Columbus, OH, Naples, Fl, Sarasota, Fl, and Rogers, AK.

Bob’s true passion for cars has led him into NASCAR Racing. Germain Racing now competes in the Craftsman Series, the Nationwide Series and the Sprint Cup Series. Germain operates a multi-million dollar facility in Morresville, NC with over 80 employees. The company also owns the naming rights for Germain Arena in Estero, Florida.

Bob is very active in the Naples community. Each year he helps many charitable organizations, but he truly enjoys helping children. Bob helps fund the annual “Fancy Pants Golf Outing” to benefit the Pete Villani Memorial. This event raises thousands of dollars for families living with cancer. Bob helped establish the local chapter of Bosom Buddies, a breast cancer survivor support group. And Bob sponsors the “Gift of Giving,” an annual event with the Foster Care Council of SWFL that helps make the lives of children in the foster system a little better during the holidays.

Bob currently splits his time between Naples and North Carolina with his wife Gayle and her two children. Bob has two grown children from previous marriages and four grandchildren. Bob loves to spend time in North Carolina in the summer and travels the NASCAR circuit whenever races are on.
